Tianda New Energy Introduces Safe and Fireproof PV Modules

Anhui Tianda New Energy Co., Ltd. and Torque New Energy Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. have reached a strategic cooperation to launch safe and fireproof photovoltaic modules. Tianda New Energy has the manufacturing capability of high-efficiency photovoltaic cell module, and Torque New Energy has the patent of safety fireproof junction box.
The safety and fireproof PV module launched by Tianda New Energy is a PV module that can automatically cut off the DC arc and automatically shut down the junction box at high temperature, which will not cause fire. When the junction box DC arcing, diode through the high current to produce dangerous high temperature, without manual control of the junction box will automatically cut off the module circuit, disconnect DC arcing, to avoid continuous DC arcing to produce thousands of degrees of high temperature, burn the junction box or photovoltaic modules.
Compared with the Rapid Shutdown Device (RSD) program, the safety fire PV module has the following advantages:
(1) When the arc pulling energy is very small, the DC arc pulling is automatically stopped in time. The RSD solution does not have a DC arc detection function and cannot prevent the occurrence of a DC arc and the high temperature generated by a DC arc.
(2) The junction box can automatically cut off the module output after a fire occurs at the PV system installation site. Fast shutdown program can only wait for the rescue personnel to arrive at the scene, manually cut off the module output.
(3) The use of fewer devices, low cost, long life, high reliability. Fast shutdown program electronic components, high cost, relying on DC PLC communication, low reliability.
(4) It can control the temperature of the diode when it passes high current and guarantee the long-term reliable use of the diode. Fast shutdown solutions cannot detect and manage diode temperature.
This patented technology module is especially suitable for distributed PV projects, which can fundamentally prevent the module itself from DC arc pulling triggering a fire, and can automatically discern the environmental fire at the installation site and automatically turn off the module level in real time in a timely manner. The PV system is safer to use and less costly to maintain.
